  • The CircuTex Project at the conference „Europe – New Textile Projects for a New Economy”.

On 2 November 2022, the conference „Europe – New textile projects for a new economy” was held on the Vera campus of the Universitat Politècnica de Valéncia, within the framework of activities of the „Sustainable Fashion: Textiles of the future” programme. It was a day where several lecturers participated and discussed the latest research and innovations in the textile sector: recycling, circularity, sustainability… which are the challenges that the sector is facing urgently.

Pablo Díaz, head of the CircuTex project, was one of the lecturers who participated in the conference with the presentation of the project „Circular economy in fibrous composites and technical textiles through the use of virtual laboratories”. The conference was held in person but was also broadcast in streaming through UPV-[Media]. It was attended by a large number of people, mainly students from the university, companies, organisations and institutions from the textile sector.
